- Participation is Voluntary
The participation of becoming a member of the online panel and any of the surveys provided by Shoutbox is absolutely voluntary. There is no obligation for anyone to provide us with their personal details if they do not wish to do so. Co-operation will be at all times, voluntary.
- Information Gathered
All information gathered through our website will not be used, sold or given out to other companies for commercial use. We assure that our members privacy is protected as the data collected will only be used for market research purposes and to prepare reports and analysis.
The identity of panel members will be safeguarded at all times. No such personally identified information will be used for non-research purposes such as direct marketing, credit rating or fund-raising.
- Data Security
Information gathered will be stored for as long as required for the purpose of market research. Our website has security measures such as firewall, to ensure that security is at a maximum to prevent data theft.
- Unsolicited e-mails/ Junk mails
Shoutbox fully respect the privacy of our members, so there will be no junk mails sent to our members. All mails sent will be with the consent of our members.
- Notification and Changes
The information gathered will be used in accordance with the privacy policy on the data collection process. Members will be informed by email if the data is being used in different manner from the acknowledged time of collection. A prominent notice will be posted on our website for the changes in our privacy policy.
